The Nazarene 403(b) Retirement Savings Plan allows ministers and other church employees to set aside funds for the future with tax advantages. Now, Pensions and Benefits USA has introduced a way to do this more easily. “403(b) Contributions” is an online system designed to help church treasurers schedule and track deposits to the retirement accounts of church employees without the hassle of checks and remittance statements.

“With the decision of Fidelity Investments to no longer accept paper checks as of January 1, 2019, it’s important that churches switch to this improved online system,” said Don Walter, director of Pensions and Benefits USA. “403(b) Contributions provides better security than paper checks, establishes an automatic payment process, and speeds up the transfer of funds. We encourage pastors to talk to their treasurers about taking advantage of this new program.”
