bop-2017-2021The membership of the Board of Pensions and Benefits USA for the next four years (2017-2021) has been announced, according to Don Walter, director of Pensions and Benefits USA. The board is composed of both lay and clergy, with one person representing each region of the United States and one at-large member. Those elected for the new quadrennium include:

  • Central........................Geoff Kunselman (clergy)*
  • East Central ...............Jill Rice (lay)
  • Eastern........................Phil Fuller (clergy)*
  • North Central...............Darrel Johnson*
  • Northwest ...................Bruce Moore (lay)*
  • South Central .............Rick Martin (lay)*
  • Southeast ...................Mark Patrick (lay)
  • Southwest...................Doug Pierce (clergy)*
  • At-large ......................Kerry Willis (clergy)*
  • (*incumbent)

“The nomination and election of these individuals is evidence of the trust placed in them by our church,” said Walter. “I look forward to working with them on behalf of the thousands of church employees we serve.”

The Board of Pensions is responsible for oversight of the various programs administered by Pensions and Benefits USA. The members were nominated by the Board of General Superintendents and elected by the USA members of the General Board.
